 MATERIALS

PAPER:  French, D’Arches Aquarelle 140# watercolor paper.  Made the traditional way, on a cylinder mold, this paper has a harmonious natural grain. The fibers are evenly distributed, making the paper more stable, with very limited deformation.

Made of long 100% cotton fibers, ARCHES® Watercolor paper can absorb a lot of water without warping or causing the colors to bleed.

Exclusive to ARCHES®: it is sized to the core with natural gelatin, which means it can be scratched without tearing or linting. It also preserves the luster and transparency of the colors whilst preventing paints penetrating into the thickness of the paper.

WATERCOLORS:   M. Graham watercolors are made with Northwest blackberry honey, recalling the practice of early artists who drew from nature for their materials as well as their subjects. This traditional base creates willing watercolors ready for your brush and yields even, fluid washes.

Honey also allows for stronger, truer colors. With a complete range of pleasing pigments — from delicate tints to dark, concentrated colors — you’ll discover more color possibilities with M. Graham watercolors.

M. Graham is a pioneer in bringing back the traditional art of hand-crafted, small batch paint made with the historic natural bases of walnut oil and honey.

PRISMACOLORS:  The premiere of colored pencils which were first developed in 1938 by The Eagle Pencil Company which was founded by Daniel Berolzheimer in New York City.
