site specific works of art for private and  public spaces

When not on fine art errands, board meetings, or sizing up a site for a commission, I never say no to a chance to be around and among nature preferably with my German Shorthairs and Bracco Italianos. We might be training, hunting, testing or just going out for a walk through the woods or searching for game in a field or playing around at the water’s edge. Usually I have one of my Nikons along to capture those moments when nature presents itself and holds me in awe of its beauty or to capture a moment when a sporting dog points their prey. It is exciting to freeze the moment when nature is at its finest, or to document an event that is meaningful in life like a sporting dog pointing its prey. These images heal me as I know that they do the same when put in a healing environment.  They connect one with nature and its healing effect.  It is a constant and rewarding obsession. Photography is an extension of who I am as a fine artist.
